Winterizing: Refrigerator

With the trailer being closed up for several months over the winter season, I like to take some extra steps to keep the refrigerator smelling good for the next season. After SoWeWentMom wipes down the interior of the refrigerator, I add Arm&Hammer Fridge-N-Freezer Baking Soda boxes to both the refrigerator and freezer sections. I prefer the Fridge-N-Freezer boxes because there is less chance of the baking soda spilling, especially if I forget to take the boxes out prior to moving the trailer in the spring.

With the baking soda in place to help mitigate and lingering odors that might still be present, the refrigerator and freezer doors are propped open with an Adjust-a-Brush door device. This will allow air to flow through the refrigerator through the winter season keeping the refrigerator smelling good for next summer.
